Organic Caraway Seed (Carum carvi)
How to make Caraway Cabbage Potato Skillet…
Boil 500 g of small, washed potatoes with the skin on. Take the pot off the stove when they are almost tender, but not fully cooked. Drain the pot and cut the potatoes into bite size chunks. Set them aside.
In the same pot on medium heat, warm 2 tablespoons of olive oil then toast a teaspoon of Caraway seed for about 30 seconds ~ until it smells awesome. Add 1 sliced onion to the pan and sauté until softened and translucent.
Add 4 cups of thinly sliced cabbage and the potatoes. Sauté for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and the potatoes are golden at the edges.
Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and a small pinch of salt. Serve alongside roasted fish or chicken.
