Quick Overview

This handsome shrub has a showy apperance of flowers in June. Native to Northern parts of the U.S. and Canada, it grows in rich lowland and wooded areas. In Russia these shrubs are planted in parks as well as home gardens. The red, acidic berries resemble low-bush cranberries. The berries are used fresh or dried and are sometimes used like cranberries. The flowers can be used in a decoction for external use but the bark is normally the part used in herbal medicine.

Ingredients: 100% Wildcrafted Cramp Bark (Viburnum opulus)

Herbs mature in wilderness conditions without cultivation. The harvest is random to maintain natural species regeneration.

With this bulk package you can create a vast array of home preparations including tinctures, capsules, poultices, salves and, of course, herbal tea.

Directions for Great Tea:
To find the true character of this herb, use the decoction method of brewing.
• Good water is an essential part of brewing a great cup of tea. We recommend using spring or filtered water.
• Combine the desired amount of herbs with good water in a stainless steel or glass pot.
• Heat mixture until it is vigorously boiling, then cover and let simmer 10 to 20 minutes.
• When the tea has steeped long enough, strain off the herbs using a tea strainer or coffee filter and enjoy.
Extra tea can be kept in a covered glass jar for a few days in the refrigerator.
• Be sure to relax! Some of the most enjoyable aspects of tea are the calmness and ritual that surround it.

Enjoy!

No flavourings, preservatives or sweeteners of any kind.
